I had a friend in high school whose mom was obsessed with Travis Tritt (he’s from my ‘hood and went to the high school down the street from where my parents live now). She thought he was super hot (?!) and swooned over him all the time. My friend’s stepdad was annoyed by this, and always referred to him as “Trav Tritty Tritt” in a pejorative way, which made us laugh.
My mom liked him too, and I heard a lot of his stuff growing up, but thankfully she never talked about him being hot. Arf. (This song is kind of a jam, though. Can’t deny it.)
