Crowded House - “Sister Madly” (2.60MB mp3 file)
Other than the two huge hits (“Something So Strong,” “Don’t Dream It’s Over”), I hadn’t really paid attention to Crowded House until my German pen pal Melanie put this song on a mixtape for me when I was 14. It was he first deep cut of theirs I heard, and inspired me to check for more than just their singles. (Although Wikipedia just told me this was, in fact, released as a single. Oh well. I certainly didn’t know that at the time — I just knew it was my favorite song on Melanie’s tape.)
