David gave me a copy of Midnight Boom pretty soon after it came out, and like I do with most new purchases of my own, I immediately loaded the CD onto my computer — but I got distracted and forgot about it. And just the other day I had all of my mp3s on random, and this jam came on and I sat up straight and my ears perked up and I thought, “WHO IS THIS?! THIS RULES!” I looked and saw that it was The Kills, and e-mailed David right away. “I can’t believe I just now got around to it, because this Kills album you gave me is so awesome!” “Yeah, DUH,” he replied.
